Our location in Baltimore, MD is currently seeking entry-level electrical engineers for our Product Safety laboratory. The engineer will be responsible for performing a number of tests on new electronics to country requirements that are requested by our customers. This is a very hands-on position that will require the candidate to interact with a number of different customers on many different levels.
Qualifications
- A BSEE or a similar degree in a closely related field with 0-3 years experience is strongly desired.
- Applicants with experience with another NRTL and experience with information technology, machinery and hazardous location equipment will have a better chance of success.
- The candidate should posses excellent work habits, attention to detail and be able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must work well in a team environment and also independently with little supervision.
- The candidate must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, concepts, ideas, and routine details to various levels of technical and non-technical engineering and management personnel.

The engineer will be responsible for performing a number of tests on new electronics to country requirements that are requested by our customers. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, electronics, wireless or RF engineering preferred or related/equivalent with 0-3 years experience. All applicants with relevant technical knowledge will be considered.
- Special attention will be given to engineers with EMC related experience with RFID or other wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing test instrumentation including, but not limited to, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Harmonic Mixers and Power meters.

Maintenance Assistant
Location: Union City, CA
Our facility in Union City, CA is seeking a hard working, reliable, honest individual to assist in all aspects of facility operations functions, specifically electrical. The candidate must be familiar with AC/DC current (basic principles), power supplies, industrial motor wiring, & possess the ability to understand electrical control ladder diagrams. The candidate must be able to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance functions (i.e. light bulb replacement, dry wall, door and hinge repairs, etc.) and other duties as assigned. Inspect and maintain of the overall building (restrooms, storage areas, and offices) and grounds appearance so that it represents a high standard of quality. Desired qualifications:
- Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting skills;
